HCRT Cycling Enthusiasts: Victory Ride to Cure Cancer
The Harvard Club of the Research Triangle is delighted to announce a special series of events for our bike-loving members (all levels welcome!!), starting August 28th wth the Victory Ride to Cure Cancer.
Get out your bikes and get ready to join us for our first in-person event of the year... a fun day of cycling for a cause!
We will be riding in the Victory Ride to Cure Cancer on August 28th on the NC State campus. The bike ride will take place as part of 2021 Victory Ride to Cure Cancer on the NC State’s Centennial campus in Raleigh. See the maps for the 10-, 30-, 60- or 100-mile routes here. Please join us--all skill levels welcome!!
The Victory Ride to Cure Cancer is organized by the V Foundation for Cancer Research with UNC and Duke’s Cancer centers, and should be an exciting, inclusive, and safe event for all to enjoy. Be sure to bring your family and friends for a post-ride celebration featuring local food trucks, craft beer and live music.
Registration is $65 and participants are asked to raise $250 in donations for the foundation. REGISTER HERE!!
Please note: This is the first in an ongoing series of HCRT bike outings. In addition to some casual group meet-ups and rides, we are looking forward to participating in the Tarwheels Bikefest ride in October. You will definitely want to purchase a custom HCRT bike shirt to wear to these (and other) events. Designed by our own John Kim, the shirt is available in a large array of men's and women's sizes and features a map of the Harvard Campus. It looks fantastic!!
Each shirt costs $105 and should be ordered ASAP so we can get them in time for the Bikefest in October.
Please send any ideas to event organizer Adeyemi Ogunleye, at yemiogunleye@post.harvard.edu.
