Socrates discussion group open to HCRT
Dec 14: Come enjoy discussion with the Socrates discussion group!
This group meets once a month to talk about absolutely anything. Founded by Harvard alum Randy Lundberg some years ago, being a Harvard alum is delightful but not required. Our numbers have dwindled a bit and we want more company and more opinions. There is no set agenda. If someone has a topic that interests them they may bring it to the meeting, occasionally with suggested reading, occasionally having prepared something to say, but often just to lay it out for the group to cogitate on. If there’s no topic we never run short of things to talk about.
Details: we meet the second Friday of each month - next meeting Dec. 14
Where: usually outside the Harrison Ave Starbucks in Cary if the weather is good, or in the lobby of the Embassy Suites hotel if it’s bad. Sometimes we meet in someone’s house.
When: 8:00 to 10:00, approximately.
