An Evening with Ping Fu, Chief Entrepreneur Officer, 3D Systems

Tuesday, December 9, 5:30 PM - 8 PM

Seating Is Limited

The board of directors of the Harvard Club of the Research Triangle invites you to join us for cocktails, dinner and a conversation with Ping Fu, who co-founded and then sold her company, Geomagic, to 3D Systems in 2013.  Named Entrepreneur of the Year by Inc. Magazine in 2005, Ping will demo the latest in 3D printing and discuss her changing role from co-founder and CEO of Geomagic to Chief Entrepreneur Officer of 3D systems.

Grace Ueng, (Harvard Club director, HBS ’91) will lead a discussion with Ping to look at how her love of problem solving led her to computer science and being part of the team that created NCSA Mosaic which became Netscape, the Web browser that forever changed how we access information.  Ping’s journey from an imprisoned young girl in China to becoming a board member of President Obama’s National Council on Innovation and Entrepreneurship is truly inspiring. A copy of Ping’s autobiography, Bend Not Break, A Life in Two Worlds, will be given to all who attend.

Enjoy cocktails, dinner and a visit at 3D Systems (Cary) with fellow Harvard alums for an informative and fascinating evening with Ping Fu.
