Nov. 13: Wonder Women book discussion with Barnard President Debora Spar

The alumnae of the Seven Sisters, the Ivies, MIT, Stanford & U. Chicago have organized a year-long series called “A Year to Reconnect.” We seek to host three events and three lunches where we can discuss women’s issues. We can catch up with where feminism is today, discuss our own contexts, and meet interesting people.

We invite women from our clubs to RSVP (100 seats are available) to our first event: a book discussion of Barnard President Debora Spar’s best-selling book on current feminism, WONDER WOMEN. She will attend via Skype. After her remarks, we’ll have discussion and then see who is interested in helping organize events to help us both get to know each other and discuss important women’s issues.

Even better, this even is FREE! A generous offer from Saint Mary’s School in Raleigh has allowed us to hold our event in their large parlor.

So please come!
