harvard-prize-bookPlease Support the HCRT as We Award Prize Books to Outstanding High School Juniors in North Carolina

This spring, the HCRT will award Prize Books to students at fifteen high schools throughout our area, from Rocky Mount to Chapel Hill to New Bern.  Prize Books are awarded to an outstanding student from a school's junior class who displays excellence in scholarship and high character, combined with achievement in other fields.

Prize Books are an important way for Harvard Clubs and SIGs to help attract the attention of talented young students to the opportunities at Harvard College.  The Prize Books are presented at the end of the academic year, typically at the school's award ceremonies or graduation exercises, with remarks from a local Harvard alumnus/a. While COVID has forced many schools to improvise with virtual award ceremonies, we have a couple of opportunities for HCRT members to represent Harvard at a ceremony this year. Please consider getting involved with our Prize Book program, either by presenting a book  at an awards ceremony or by sponsoring an award.

If you'd like to present a Prize Book, either this spring or in 2022, or if you have any questions, please contact the HCRT Prize Book Chair, Adeyemi Ogunleye, timdog_xs@yahoo.com
