Harvard Happy Hour and Bocce

Join fellow Harvard alums for Happy Hour and learn to play Bocce

Throwing balls toward a target is the oldest game known to mankind. As early as 5000 B.C. the Egyptians played a form of bocce with polished rocks. While Bocce today looks quite different from its early predecessors the unbroken thread of Bocce’s lineage remains the same: get a ball as near to the target as possible.

Bring your friends as we follow in the footsteps of the ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans and learn to play Bocce. It’s Free! Drinks and refreshments are available for purchase.

When: Wednesday, December 3, 6 PM – 8 PM
Where: West End Billiards and Bocce, 601 West Main Street, Durham, NC
Why: The Bocce court is reserved; we’ll have a lot of fun and it’s free!

Please RSVP using the form to the right.
